About Project

Aerosat Launch Program is Satellite Launch Project designed by a group of Undergraduate students. Our Mission is to send a satellite to high altitude in atmosphere and study the atmospheric data. We have developed a satellite less with sensors and modules. This Project includes acquisition of atmospheric data, study the stratosphere, capture images.

We have released the documentation and repository of our first prototype “I-SAT v.1.0”.

Prototype

ISAT-8266 is first version of our prototype or satellite series ISAT. The purpose behind this prototype to create a foundation of ISAT, to understand the complexity and working of satellite communication and data visualization.

Raspberry Pi

The Raspberry Pi is a compact single-board computer renowned for its affordability and versatility. Lora Technology

LoRa (Long Range) technology is a wireless communication protocol designed for long-range, low-power applications in the Internet of Things (IoT). LoRaWAN, a key application of LoRa technology, enables secure and efficient communication between devices, making it a popular choice for IoT deployments in smart cities, agriculture, and industrial settings.

Camera & Sensors

A Raspberry Pi can be integrated with cameras and sensors to simulate satellite functions. Cameras, like the Raspberry Pi Camera Module, provide imaging capabilities, capturing visual data for Earth observation or educational purposes. Sensors, such as accelerometers, gyroscopes, or environmental sensors, can be added to gather information on the simulated satellite's orientation, movement, or environmental conditions.
